This succeeds the former "arraigo para la formación". It lets you regularise your situation by committing to take formal or employment-oriented training and to combine it with work within the applicable working-hour limits.
The initial authorisation is granted for one year; when the training ends it can be converted into a residence and work authorisation if the requirements are met.
- Non-EU foreign nationals with 2 years of continuous stay in Spain who enrol, or undertake to enrol, in eligible training.
- Continuous stay in Spain of at least 2 years.
- Enrolment, admission or a commitment to enrol in eligible training: intermediate or higher vocational training, professional certificates, training promoted by the public employment services, or training leading to a technical aptitude certificate or professional accreditation.
- Social integration report (depending on the case and the office): check your provincial information sheet.
- No criminal record and no entry ban.

- You will later have to prove actual enrolment and satisfactory progress: keep your certificates.
Combining it with work is subject to a working-hour limit (generally 30 hours a week) and pay must meet the minimum wage or the collective agreement. Check the details on the current information sheet.
Not every course counts: it must be one of the types of training expressly allowed by the rules.
